Katie was born and raised in Petersburg and continues to call it home. Being involved in the family firm has been a part of her life from an early age. From a young girl preparing insurance packets that were given to local teachers prior to the new school year to working part-time at WHT&S while attending graduate school. In June 2000, she decided to join the insurance profession and the WHT&S family.
She is extremely proud to have earned her degrees at VA Tech and VCU. In her spare time, Katie loves to take her four-legged and furry kids to Duck, NC or simply spend time with family and friends in Old Towne Petersburg. Who wouldn’t?
